Professional parent educator, mentor and case management position. Parent Aide is a nationally recognized in-home child abuse prevention program of the National Exchange Club of America. Services are provided to families without cost, in the family's home. Weekly/bi-weekly visits for a period of 6 - 12 months, provide parents with an intensive in-home service designed to assist parents who want to learn new and more effective ways of parenting. Once the referral is received and the family has accepted services, a trained Parent Aide begins the process with a risk assessment and Family Plan, then conducts weekly 60-minute visits utilizing research driven, evidence-based curriculum focused on the specific needs of each family. Many years of data have shown that families who complete this program will have no further incidents of confirmed abuse or neglect within one year of case closure. Referrals to Parent Aide come from a wide variety of agencies, the school system, DCF and self-referrals.
MIMIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor's degree in a human services field of study, one year of professional experience and be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Salary Range: $39,000 - $48,000, plus mileage, $350 per month Health Reimbursement Allowance for medical expenses, plus holidays and PTO.
Administrative position which provides assistance to the Executive Director and direct services staff for approximately 10 staff members. On the technology side, applicants must be proficient in the use of Office365, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and a working knowledge of website maintenance for updating events and other items. This position creates and distributes a monthly newsletter using Mailchimp and will also be responsible for registrations and payments for an annual event in the Spring. In addition to these very important duties, this position also serves in a number of small but important ways, including but not limited to running errands on occasion, ordering supplies and answering the phone. A minimum of one year's experience working as an Administrative Assistant is preferred, however, this is not mandatory.
MIMIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have a high school diploma or above, one year experience working in an office setting, and be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Salary Range: $37,000 - $45,000 plus $350 per month Health Reimbursement Allowance for medical expenses, holidays and PTO.
